This padded overlay turns a hard full size tray into a surface a client can lean on all day. It matters most for clients who spend long stretches with their forearms on the tray, where a rigid surface leads to red marks over the ulnar border and elbows.
The foam layer is covered in black vinyl, which wipes over after meals and does not soak up spills. It attaches over the top of an existing tray and lifts off again, so the clear surface underneath is still available when a client needs to see their lap and legs.
Overlays are made to match the tray sizes and body cutouts in the range, so the padding follows the tray shape and the cutout still fits the client.
