A tray that slides on the armrests is a hazard and a nuisance. These hook and loop straps hold a wheelchair tray down onto the arms with a simple closure a carer can undo in a second for transfers, then refasten without adjusting anything.
They can be used on their own on a basic setup, or added to a chair that already has clamps or brackets where a bit of extra hold is wanted. The adhesive backing runs the full length of the strap so it stays put on the tray underside once it has cured.
They are an inexpensive fix for a tray that shifts under a client who leans, pushes or transfers often, and they add no weight or bulk to the chair.
