This Therafin pad is a posterior arm support shaped to sit on a padded half tray. It gives the elbow and upper forearm a defined place to rest, which helps a client who otherwise slides the arm off the back edge of the tray.

The contact surface is smooth covered neoprene, chosen so it wipes clean, which is worth having on a surface that sits under a forearm all day. The other side is knit covered neoprene, so the pad grips the tray and stays put.

It suits clients with a hemiplegic arm, low tone through the shoulder girdle, or shoulder pain that eases when the arm is supported behind the elbow.
