The Supershape shell is the rigid outer part of the Spex Supershape back support, ordered on its own where the foam inner is already held or is being supplied separately.
Who it suits
Clients with complex spinal shape: kyphosis, scoliosis, hyperlordosis, marked trunk asymmetry, prominent bony points, or a pressure care need through the back. The shell gives that client a durable, stable foundation to shape against.
It carries a breathable washable cover in a choice of colours, and it takes the standard Spex back support hardware, so it can be mounted to the chair the client already uses. Shaping happens inside the shell, which keeps the outside profile tidy and predictable for a chair that also has to fit a vehicle or a workstation.
