A Staydry mat goes where liquid is likely to end up: beside the bed for an overnight leak, or on a bathroom or kitchen floor that gets splashed. It takes the water in and holds it, so the floor stays walkable and the room stays usable while someone gets to it.
The backing is rubber and the edge is kept very low, so a walker, a wheelchair or a shower commode can cross it without catching and without the mat rucking up underfoot. The material resists odour, mould and bacteria through repeated washing, which is what keeps it fit for clinical use.
It washes by hand or machine in warm water and can be line dried, so a household can keep two in rotation. A range of sizes and colours is made, from a bedside strip to a full room length runner.
