The belt anchors at four points on the chair, so the pull comes across the hips and not the stomach, and the client stays back in the seat where the cushion and the supports can do their job.
It is finished in blue and made for daily use in a wet area, so it washes off after showering and goes straight back into service. The buckle is simple enough that every carer fastens it the same way, which matters when several different people work with the same client.
