Where a client pushes hard into a lateral, or has a fixed curve that needs real correction held through a whole shower, the reinforced lateral support for the Starfish Pro is built to take that load without moving.
Each support is mounted on the back profile and can be set at its own height and width, so an asymmetric trunk can be corrected properly rather than simply boxed in. Holding the trunk steady frees the carer to wash rather than steady the person with one hand.
They are supplied as a pair with pressure relieving cushions in the fluid repellent hygiene cover, which strips off for cleaning between uses.
