This is one of the most commonly supplied pieces of equipment after a joint replacement, and for good reason. The Staebel frame raises the seat and adds arms to a standard toilet with nothing fixed to the floor or the pan, so it goes in on the day and comes out again when the client no longer needs it.
Push button legs set the seat height across a range that covers most adults, which means one frame suits a short client and a tall one. The seat lifts up and removes for cleaning, the splash guard comes out too, and the aluminium frame will not rust in a wet bathroom. Frames stack for storage, which is what makes this one practical to hire and move between clients.
It suits a client with hip or knee precautions, weak quads or general frailty who cannot get up from a standard height toilet without help, including Support at Home clients who only need the extra height for a while.
