A wedge for raising the lower limbs, used where legs need elevating for swelling, circulation or comfort. It supports the leg along its length as it rises, so the limb is held evenly along the back of the calf.
It suits clients with oedema, clients recovering from lower limb surgery, and anyone whose legs are more comfortable raised at night. Elevation only helps if it lasts, and a shaped wedge keeps the legs up through the night without a carer returning to rebuild it.
Two sizes are made, and it is supplied as the pillow with a washable cover or frotte cover available.
