An abduction pillow for holding the legs apart at the hips, used after hip surgery, for clients under hip precautions, and for clients whose adductor tone pulls the legs together as soon as they settle.
It gives both legs a supported surface to rest on, so the abduction is maintained by the shape of the cushion, with no effort from the client and no carer resetting it every hour. Three sizes are made, which lets you match the amount of abduction to what has been prescribed for that client.
Available as a pillow with a granulating insert option for moulding to the individual, plus frotte and washable covers for everyday use.
