A wedge shaped support for holding a client in side lying or in a partial turn. The angled face does the work, giving the trunk something solid to rest against so the client is held off their back without being propped at an uncomfortable angle.
It suits clients on a turning regime, clients being managed for pressure risk, and clients who need a degree of tilt for breathing or digestion. Two sizes are made, so a smaller client or a partial turn can be handled as well as a full adult set-up.
Frotte and washable covers are available, and the wedge is light enough for one carer to place without moving the client twice.
