The XLella2 back support uses a hinge profile so the lower section can be angled to relieve the gluteal region, and its outer cover is cut to suit that bi-angle shape. This is that cover, ordered as a spare or a replacement when the original is worn or stained.
It keeps the same dual layer build as the cover it replaces, so shear reduction at the back and skin surface is unchanged, along with the air mesh side panels and the moisture wicking front face that manage heat for larger clients.
Because the cover follows the hinged contour, the back support keeps the adjustment you set at the fitting once the cover is refitted. Removal and refitting after laundering is a straightforward job for a carer.
