A sling seat upholstery sags in the middle, and the client’s hips roll inward with it. The Spex Seat Base gives the cushion a solid aluminium platform to sit on, so the cushion works the way it was prescribed and pressure spreads across the whole surface.
The top face is a grid of mounting positions, which is where this base earns its place in a complex seating build. Thigh supports, medial knee blocks and arm supports all bolt straight to it, side and front slots take hip belts and other straps, and rear cut-outs clear the back canes. Built-in width adjustment means it can follow a growing client or move to a different chair.
Choose fixed hardware for the lightest, simplest fit, or quick-release hardware with self-locking pins when the base has to come out for transport or cleaning.
