Clients who transfer independently, play sport or need their laterals off the chair at short notice are the ones this bracket is built for. A simple lever releases the lateral support from the cane mount, and the user or a carer can do it without tools. A locking pin is supplied to hold the support in place during transport and to stop an unintended release.
The axial swing-away action means the support can also be moved out of the way without removing it at all, which covers the quick side transfer. When it goes back on, the mounting position is unchanged, so the lateral returns to the setup you prescribed.
A protective neoprene sleeve is included to cover the hardware, keeping metal away from the user’s arm and clothing. Depth options suit different backrest upholstery thicknesses.
