Heavier clients put real load through the point where a back support meets the wheelchair frame, and that is where standard mounting hardware starts to move. The Spex heavy duty quad mount uses stronger L brackets to carry that load while keeping the quick release action.
The quick release lets the back support come off the chair in seconds, which makes vehicle loading, transfers and cleaning much easier for carers. Four mounting points spread the force across the frame, and the hardware gives seat depth adjustment so you can move the back support forward or back to set the right seat depth for your client.
