This is the replacement outer cover for a Spex Adapta3 back support built with the tri angle adjustable shell and kyphotic padding, the configuration used for clients presenting with kyphosis and posterior pelvic tilt.
That build carries extra padding at the sacrum and along the thoracic curve, and the cover is shaped to sit over it cleanly. A generic cover pulled over the same shell would flatten the contour and undo the set up you spent a session getting right.
Replacing a worn cover restores a clean, comfortable contact surface without touching the shell adjustment, so the client goes back into the same posture they were assessed in. A spare also keeps things moving in settings where covers are laundered often.
