This spare outer cover fits the flip back version of the Spex Adapta3 back support with standard padding. It is the part that takes the daily punishment: transfers, moisture, cleaning and friction from clothing all wear a cover well before the aluminium shell shows any sign of age.
The Adapta3 shell is built in three individually adjustable sections, and the flip back hardware lets the whole support drop out of the way for transfers. The cover is cut to suit that arrangement, so the shape you set stays set when the support is flipped and returned.
Having a replacement on hand keeps a client in their scripted seating while the original is dealt with. For therapists managing a caseload, it also removes a common reason for an unplanned review visit.
