The Smirthwaite Combi is a supported toileting chair for children and young people who cannot manage a standard toilet safely. It pairs a properly shaped seating position with a toileting seat, so the client gets trunk support, a stable base and privacy in the same piece of equipment.
Who it suits
Size 4 is the largest in the range and suits an older child or young adult still working on continence routines at home or at school. It comes with both a potty and a plastic commode seat, so the same chair carries a client through the stages of that programme without a new prescription. Seat height and depth adjust, and the armrests can be fixed or height adjustable depending on how much the person uses them to push up.
The frame is timber with an antimicrobial finish, a velcro pelvic strap is included, and there is a broad range of colours so the chair does not look like hospital equipment in a family bathroom.
