Toileting and dressing transfers are where a lot of slings fall down. The Oxford Access Padded Sling with Head Support is cut away through the middle so clothing stays reachable during the lift, which means your client does not have to be lowered and repositioned part way through the routine.
The head support is built in, so it carries the head and neck for clients with limited head control. Padding runs through the body and leg sections for clients who sit in the sling for longer than a moment, and an adjustable body belt holds them back into it for extra security. A non-slip backing helps stop the sling riding up as the lift takes load.
Attachment loops are colour coded, so a lift position set by one carer can be repeated exactly by the next. It is a loop sling, so it works with any spreader bar that takes loops.
This is a passive sling and needs a clinical assessment before use.
