The three wheel Little Ripper is built around one question: can it come apart and go in the car? It splits into sections without tools so a partner or support worker can load it, and a client who would otherwise be housebound on a day trip gets to come along.
Three wheels put nothing in front of the rider’s feet, which gives a shorter turning circle and more foot room than a four wheel layout. That makes it a good fit for indoor use in shopping centres and clubs, and for a client with limited knee flexion or a stiff hip.
The seat lifts off and rotates, and the height adjusts, so transfers can be set up the way your client does them. The tiller folds down for storage, the armrests lift out of the way and there is a removable basket for shopping.
