The Shear Comfort Natural Overlay is medical sheep’s wool kept in its traditional fleece shape, with the leather backing left on. It goes over a bed, a chair or a recliner and gives the person a soft, breathable surface to sit or lie on.
Wool works on two fronts for skin integrity: the fibres let the person settle into the pile so load spreads out, and they draw heat and moisture away from the skin. For a client who spends long stretches in one position and tends to get hot and damp, that microclimate control is often the practical win.
