This is the full measuring station from the seca Scale up Line: the flat scale, the handrail and ultrasonic height measurement, built as one unit for clinics that record height and weight together and send both into the patient record.
Height is taken by ultrasound with no contact and no headpiece pressed onto the scalp, which removes a cross infection route and takes seconds. Illuminated footprints in the platform show the client exactly where to stand, and voice guidance walks them through it, so the posture is right without a staff member having to reposition them.
The handrail is part of the weight sensitive area, so a client can steady themselves without affecting the reading. The platform is made from tested glass, which is break resistant and wipes clean properly. The ID display shows the client and user name or ID during transfer, so you can see the measurement is landing on the correct record before you walk away.
