This configuration pairs the seca 654 flat scale with the seca 455 handrail, for wards and clinics weighing clients who need to hold on while they step up and settle.
The rail is curved and integrated with the cast iron base, and it sits inside the weight sensitive area, so leaning on it does not shift the number. That lets staff encourage a client to use it properly, with no need to coach them into standing unsupported for the reading. The glass platform is break resistant, sits low for an easy step up and wipes down between clients.
The ID display shows the user and client name or ID as the measurement transfers, and data moves to the medical record over WLAN or the wired network. Ultrasonic height measurement can be added to the same base later if the service grows into it.
