The seca 455 is the handrail that turns the seca 654 flat scale into a supported weighing station. It gives a client who is unsteady on their feet something solid to hold while they step on and settle, which lowers the fall risk during weighing and takes pressure off the staff member assisting.

The rail is elegantly curved and integrated with the cast iron base of the scale, and it forms part of the weight sensitive area. That means a client can lean on it without distorting the reading, so you do not have to coach people to let go before you take the number.

This kit also includes the fittings needed to add the seca 257 ultrasonic height measurement later, so the station can be built up in stages as budget allows.
