A foldable roller board for lateral transfers, used to move a person between a bed and a trolley, a theatre table or another flat surface without lifting them. The rollers turn as the person is guided across, so the person glides across the gap.
For carers and clinicians this is about protecting backs. Two people can complete a flat transfer with far less pull, and the person being moved is not being tugged by a sheet under them. The folding design means it stores in a cupboard or on a trolley and comes out only when needed.
It suits clients with no ability to assist, including those being moved while unconscious or in a fixed posture.
