Clients who spend long periods in bed and are at risk of pressure injury, including those with an existing wound or a myocutaneous flap that needs a low pressure healing environment. It goes on top of a standard hospital, care facility or home mattress.

The ROHO dry floatation mattress overlay is built from four sections of interconnected air cells. Each section is adjusted separately, so the surface under the head, trunk, pelvis and legs can be set to what that part of the body needs. The cells let the client immerse and be enveloped, which is what takes the load off bony points.

There is no pump, no power lead and no motor, so there is no noise, no heat and nothing to fail in a blackout. For rural clients and for homes where a powered surface is a nuisance, that is a real advantage.
