It is the tool a client or carer reaches for when the cushion needs topping up or resetting after a clean, and it is worth having a spare in the house or on the bus run so nobody is stuck with a flat cushion.
Single action means air moves on the down stroke, which is enough for wheelchair cushions and quick to use one handed on a lap. The rubber connector pushes onto the cushion valve without tools.
For support coordinators setting up a new cushion or replacing one that has gone missing, this is a small item that prevents a much larger problem: a client sitting all day on a cushion at the wrong inflation.
