This is the single valve Hybrid Elite, set up sensor ready so a Smart Check device can be added. The cushion pairs ROHO air cells over a contoured foam base with leg channels, giving the client immersion for skin protection and shaping underneath for stability.
Inflation is where air cushions succeed or fail. A cushion left under inflated stops protecting the client and nobody notices until the skin does. Sensor ready means the client, family or support worker can get direct feedback on whether the cushion is set correctly, which takes the guesswork out of the daily check.
It suits a client at risk of pressure injury who also needs some postural stability, and it is a good option where the care team is spread across several people.
