The standard upper frame is the fixed support half of the Rifton Pacer. It holds the client in a consistent upright position while they step, and carries whatever prompts and supports you specify for them.
A fixed frame gives a client a stable, predictable reference point. For someone early in a walking programme, or a client with significant involuntary movement, that consistency is what lets them work out where their body is and start producing a step. It also gives a therapist a steady baseline to assess against session to session.
Four sizes are available in a range of colours, and it pairs with a standard or utility base.
