The hip positioner sits between the legs in the Pacer and stops a client’s hips from sliding sideways or their legs from crossing as they walk.
For a client with adductor tone, keeping the legs apart is often the first thing that has to be solved before any real stepping happens. The positioner gives a firm, constant boundary that does not need a therapist’s hand there to maintain it. A padded cover is available for a client who needs more comfort through a long session.
It comes with handholds and is available in two sizes. The version with the pad is ordered separately.
