Ankle prompts are for the walker who scissors, crosses over midline or catches one foot behind the other as they step. They sit at the ankle and give a gentle physical boundary, so the client’s feet track where you want them to.
Because the correction happens at the ankle, the client keeps the hip and knee movement they have and only gets the guidance they actually need. Over a course of gait practice that often means a cleaner step pattern with less hands on correction from the therapist, which frees you to watch the whole pattern.
They are matched to the Pacer base you are using and to the frame size.
