The tray turns an Activity Chair into a workstation. It mounts on the armrests and gives the client a bounded surface with raised edges for eating, schoolwork, play or communication gear, with the edges keeping things from sliding off into a lap.
It tilts a long way in both directions from horizontal, which is the part therapists tend to use most. Angling the surface up brings a book or a device into a client’s visual field without them dropping their head. Angling it down suits a task that needs forearm support. It also raises and lowers, so the tray can be set to support the forearms at the height that steadies the trunk.
It lifts off when the client needs to transfer or move about, so it does not get in the way of the rest of the day.
