This Ramptec threshold ramp is a two part hinged aluminium ramp: the main section is set to the height of the threshold on adjustable feet, and the second section folds down to meet the ground for a smooth run off.

Checker plate on the driving surface gives grip in wet Tasmanian weather, and the hinged tail flips back onto the ramp so the door can still be closed when the ramp stays in place. It is wide enough for a scooter and strong enough for a powered chair with an occupant.

The ramp can be lifted and repositioned, which suits rental properties and short term needs where a fixed ramp is not an option.
