A non-dynamic gas spring kit for the R82 x:panda back. The x:panda back normally moves with the child, absorbing extension and returning them to position. This kit replaces that spring with a non-dynamic one, so the back holds its set angle and does not give.
A fixed back suits a client who needs a stable reference surface: someone being positioned for feeding or respiratory reasons, someone whose pattern is not helped by movement, or someone where a moving back makes strapping and tray work unpredictable. The back angle still adjusts by releasing the handle, so you keep the ability to open or close the hip angle for rest and activity.
Fitting is a parts swap on the existing back, so the seat, cushions and supports all stay as they are.
