This version of the Swan comes with lockable castors and a splash guard already fitted, which covers the two things most bathrooms need on day one. The castors let a carer roll the chair to the toilet, into the shower and back out again without lifting it, and the locks hold it steady for transfers.
The splash guard keeps water and waste contained, so the chair can be used over a toilet or with a pan and the clean up stays short. Ordering it this way means the parts arrive together and the chair is ready for the bathroom on arrival.
Everything else about the chair is unchanged: shaped shell, gas spring assisted tilt, height adjustable frame and smooth surfaces throughout.
