Some children hold their trunk well at the pelvis but still fall forward at the shoulders, particularly late in the day. These R82 shoulder straps take the upper body and the shoulders, and they work alongside a pelvic belt or harness.
Bringing the shoulders back opens the chest, which helps with breathing, head position and being able to see and reach. For a child using a tray or a communication device, that change in upper body position often does more for function than anything added at the seat.
