This foot support gives each leg its own footplate with a hinged sandal and straps, so the feet can be set at different heights and angles. It is the option for a child with a leg length difference, an ankle that will not come to neutral, or a pattern that needs each foot placed on its own terms.
Having the feet held where they belong keeps the knees and the pelvis in the position you set above them, so the whole standing posture holds together for longer. The hinged sandal lets the foot be secured before the child is brought upright, which makes transfers into the frame safer for the carer and calmer for the child.
