The Mustang seat is for a child who needs partial weight relief while they walk. It mounts between the frame uprights and gives the child something to take weight through when their legs fatigue, so the walking session can continue when their legs fatigue.
Used well, it also changes what the child is practising. Taking some body weight through the seat lets a child with weak hip and knee extension work on stepping and reciprocal leg movement without having to hold their whole body up at the same time. As strength improves the seat can be raised or removed.
It is sized to the Mustang frame, so specify the frame size when ordering. Fitting is straightforward and does not need tools beyond what comes with the walker.
