Feet that drift off the footplate mid wash make the whole seated position unstable, and they are a real hazard when the chair is being wheeled over a toilet. This set of heel stops and straps holds each foot back against the plate so the leg stays loaded and the pelvis stays put.
For the carer it removes one of the repeated jobs in a shower routine: no repositioning feet between washing and rinsing, and no reaching down into the water to do it. The straps fasten and release quickly with one hand, which matters when your other hand is steadying the client.
Supplied as a set and made by R82 for the Heron footplate.
