Separate armrests for the Flamingo give a child somewhere to rest the forearms and something to hold while they are being moved in and out of the chair. Supported arms take weight off the trunk, which usually settles the whole sitting posture.
They suit children who reach and grab for balance, children who need a boundary at the side to stop the trunk falling away, and children who are anxious during transfers and settle once they have something solid under the arms. Because they mount separately, they can be positioned to suit the child.
Supplied as a set for both sides. They are built for the bathroom, so they wipe down with the rest of the chair.
