About this product

Who it suits

Clients who need tilt for pressure management, postural control or sitting tolerance, and who spend most of the day in the chair. The Iris uses a curved rocker arm so the seat rotates close to the person’s own centre of gravity, which keeps the tilt smooth, keeps the wheelbase short and avoids the horizontal shift that can trigger spasticity or startle a client with cognitive change.

For the carer, tilt takes little effort and can be set up with an attendant control or a toggle switch mounted wherever it is easiest to reach, with power tilt available if the client is to operate it themselves. The frame adjusts as the client changes size, weight or seating, so the chair can be re-set as they change.

A reverse configuration is available for clients who want full tilt and the ability to self-propel.
