About this product

A curved transfer board for seated transfers between bed, wheelchair, armchair, toilet and car seat. The curve is the point: it lets the carer work face to face with the client in a confined space such as a bathroom or beside a bed, where a straight board would need room that is not there.

The edges taper down thin so the board slides under the thigh with less discomfort and less shear on fragile skin. Inset anti slip pads hold it in place on the transfer surfaces and stay put rather than peeling away with use. Two handles make it easy to position and to hang up between transfers.

It is light enough for a community carer to carry between visits, and the safe working load covers bariatric transfers, so one board can serve a mixed caseload. The surface takes the common cleaning and disinfection methods used in health settings.
