Acute and high turnover beds give a mattress very little rest, and constant use traps moisture inside the cover. The Premiflex Ultra cover is Forte’s answer to that: the same four-way stretch polyurethane pressure care top as the rest of the Premiflex range, paired with Breathe technology that lets more moisture vapour pass out through the cover.
Less condensation inside the cover means less risk of mould forming and better long term performance from the foam core. The base is a double coated polyurethane that conforms to a profiling bed platform and stands up to strong disinfectants.
This is the cover to specify where a mattress runs hot and wet, in bariatric use or where clients are nursed for long periods without a break in occupancy.
