A pressure care mattress is only as good as the cover on it. The Premiflex Classic cover from Forte is a replacement cover for demanding care settings, built around a Belgian made polyurethane interface that stretches four ways so the surface moves with the client and does not drag on the skin.
The top layer is moisture vapour permeable, so heat and humidity can escape before they build up against the skin, and it resists body fluids and cleaning chemicals. The base is a heavy duty PVC that takes the wear from a profiling bed platform, which is usually where covers fail first.
Replacing a tired cover restores the performance of a foam core that still has life in it, which keeps a serviceable mattress out of landfill.
