Some clients cannot be lifted flat in a sling. They need the upper body brought upright and held there, either because of respiratory issues, reflux, or because sitting up is what makes the transfer tolerable. The pivot frame does that job, and this version has a weigh scale built into it.
Four sling attachment points, two at the top and two lower in the centre, let a pivot sling tilt the client into an upright position under control. Because the scale is built into the frame, you keep more of the hoist’s lifting height, which matters in a bedroom with a low ceiling or a high bed.
Weighing happens as part of the transfer, so nobody has to move the client twice to get a number. The polyurethane padding is non absorbent and the frame is powder coated, so it cleans down between users.
