Screw caps are the ones that catch people out: drink bottles, sauces, and the medication bottle that has to be opened every morning. The One Touch Twizzoff handles all of them. Your client rests it on the cap and presses the button, and the rubber jaws close, break the seal and twist the cap off with no hand strength needed.
The jaws adjust themselves to the cap, so metal and plastic caps across the common sizes are all covered. It is light enough to lift on and off one handed, runs on batteries and wipes clean.
It suits a client with arthritis, reduced grip strength or one-handed function who cannot twist a cap, and a client who finds manual jar openers too fiddly. It is for screw caps only: a client who mainly struggles with wide jar lids should look at a jar opener or a wall-mounted jar gripper instead.
