A low back with stepless height adjustment suits the client who wants support at the pelvis and lower trunk and nothing above it getting in the way. Active manual chair users, smaller adults and older children all tend to sit better when the top edge is set precisely.
The lower section stays fixed and holds the pelvis. The upper section slides, carries the lateral contour and can be moved in small increments while the client stays in the chair, so a fitter can chase the right height across a session and settle on it with confidence.
The shell is light aluminium in two pieces, the cushion is dual density foam with gel infused visco through it, and the cover is a breathable antimicrobial fabric that washes. Pelvic and lumbar pads are supplied, and the quick release mount lets the back come off in one hand.
