A mild pelvic contour is often all that is needed for a client with good trunk control who simply wants the pelvis held square and the lower back supported. This shell does that job with a light one-piece aluminium frame and a shallow lateral shape at the pelvis.
Because the contour is modest, the client keeps freedom to move, lean and reach. The scapula cut-out clears the upper back for pushing, which makes it a practical fit for an active manual chair user. Pelvic and lumbar pads are supplied so the fitter can build in lumbar fill where a client needs it.
The cushion uses dual density foam with gel infused visco technology, and the cover is a breathable antimicrobial stretch fabric that washes. Mounting is a quick release system, so a carer can lift the back off for transport and clip it back on without tools.
