Tilt in space wheelchairs shift the user’s weight rearwards, and anti tips are what stop that becoming a backwards fall. These are the Netti 4U family anti tips with a foot pedal, and the chair takes two of them.
The pedal is the part carers appreciate. Getting a tilted chair over a kerb, a door threshold or a gutter lip is much easier when the attendant can step down and lift the front end in one controlled movement.
Each anti tip adjusts for height and depth so the ground clearance can be set for the wheel size and the terrain your client covers, and they swivel upward out of the way when they would otherwise catch, such as at a kerb or on a ramp.
