The cantilever frame does more than save weight. Carbon absorbs shock and vibration, so rough footpaths and tiled floors come through softer, which matters for clients with pain or spasticity. The rigidising bar shared with the rest of the Apex range keeps the frame stable and the push efficient, so the comfort does not cost responsiveness.
It is fully adjustable on the order form: seat width and depth, back height and angle, front frame angle, seat heights, camber and centre of gravity are all set to the script, and it looks like a modern piece of equipment rather than a medical device.
